War on Drugs

The war on drugs is a war that needs to be continued and its policy should be looked over again.America has never been drug free and never will be. The Government is first the biggest drug dealer. And as for the issue of Marijuana it should be legalized ASAP. We spend way too much money that we could use on other important matters. What we should do is offer more youth programs for kids and more youth employment. We need to put America in Rehab not in jail. According to the FBI 823,942 people were arrested just this year cannabis law offenses that are close to a million people locked up that could have been contributing paying taxes.

Hard drugs such as Heroin, Crack, Cocaine, and opiates should be the government’s major target we should not be spending money on s. They should stop the production and transportation of these drugs more effectively.  The US should enforce and train anti-drug programs and organizations on Narco States.  America’s need for drugs is causing problems for countries like Mexico. More kids in the United States drop out school and choose to live life on the fast lane by disturbing drugs. What the government should do since there plan is clearly not working is that they should give the public the choice to legalize certain drugs or not.  This country is young rebel nation the more we tell teens you can’t do drugs the more of interest they develop for it. Addicts should bot be thrown in jail more programs like drug courts should be funded. If we invested more in our people we would be less addicted to drugs if every teenager was kept busy with some program and our borders were tighten with better security  it would decrease our drug addiction. People in America need to start getting high off life not drugs.
